Recipe for eye-opening and mouth-watering Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mousse

  • 4 ounces (120 grams) bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter, cut in small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons strong coffee or espresso (optional)
  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 4 tablespoons (60 grams) granulated white sugar, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy whipping cream (35-40% butterfat content)
  • Garnish: (optional)
  • Whipped Cream
  • Fresh Raspberries
  • Shaved Chocolate

Chocolate Mousse: In a medium-sized stainless steel bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, melt the chocolate, butter, and coffee. Remove from heat and set aside to cool for a few minutes. Then whisk in the two egg yolks. Cover and refrigerate while you whip the egg whites and whipping cream.
In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), whip the two egg whites with the cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually add two tablespoons of sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form, yet the whites are still glossy and not dry. Set aside.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, remaining two tablespoons sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Remove the chocolate mixture from the refrigerator, and gently stir a couple of spoonfuls of the beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture to lighten it, and then fold the remaining whites into the chocolate mixture, gently but thoroughly. Fold in the whipped cream.
Spoon the chocolate mousse into six individual serving dishes or glasses. Cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Can serve with additional whipped cream, fresh raspberries and/or shaved chocolate.
Makes 6 servings. Preparation time 20 minutes.

All About Cadbury!

In 1824, John Cadbury began selling tea, coffee, and drinking chocolate, which he produced himself, at Bull Street in Birmingham, England. He later moved into the production of a variety of cocoa and drinking chocolates, made in a factory in Bridge Street and sold mainly to the wealthy because of the high cost of production. John Cadbury became a partner with his brother Benjamin and the company they formed was called 'Cadbury Brothers of Birmingham

The brothers opened an office in London and in 1854 they received the Royal Warrant Royal warrants of appointment have been issued for centuries to those who supply goods or services to a royal court or certain royal people) as manufacturers of chocolate and cocoa to Queen Victoria. In the 1850s the industry received a much needed boost, with the reduction in the high import taxes on cocoa, allowing chocolate to be more affordable to everybody.Due to the popularity of a new expanded product line, including the "Cadbury's Cocoa Essence", the company decided to cease trading in tea in 1873. Master confectioner Frederic Kinchelman was appointed to share his recipe and production secrets with Cadbury, which led to an assortment of chocolate covered products.
In 1905, Cadbury launched its Dairy Milk bar, with a higher proportion of milk than previous chocolate bars, and it became the company's best selling product by 1913.

History of Chocolate!

Everyone loves chocolate—kids and adults alike. And no matter what your age, you’ll enjoy learning about your favorite flavor. Cacao beans are necessary for making chocolates. Cacao tree was discovered 2,000 years ago in the tropical rainforests of America. The first people known to have made chocolate were the ancient cultures of Mexico and Central America. These people, including the Maya and Aztec, mixed ground cacao seeds with various seasonings to make a spicy, frothy drink.

Later, the people of Spain brought the seeds back home to Spain, where new recipes were created. Eventually, and the drink’s popularity spread throughout Europe. Since then, new technologies and innovations have changed the texture and taste of chocolate, but it still remains one of the world’s favorite flavors.

YUMMY!

                                                                                                                                                       Everyone's addicted to chocolate!

Whenever we are sad, chocolates always know how to cheer up our mood.  Dave Barry said, ''My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already."

One of the best-loved authors, Roald Dahl quoted,
"Never mind about 1066 William the Conqueror, 1087 William the Second. Such things are not going to affect one?s life ... but 1932 the Mars Bar and 1936 Maltesers and 1937 the Kit Kat - these dates are milestones in history and should be seared into the memory of every child in the country."

Crunchy, crispy and scrumptious chocolates always know how to win our hearts.
"Chemically speaking, chocolate really is the world's perfect food." - Michael Levine.

I SIMPLY LUV CHOCOLATES....!!
